April 2007

CMR partner Amnesty International

CMR are pleased to announce a new partnership with Amnesty International UK.

Amnesty International are a campaigning organisation, supported by more than a million activists worldwide. Amnesty works across the world to achieve sustained change for people experiencing violations of their human rights, protecting individuals wherever justice, fairness, freedom and truth are denied.

Support from donors is a vital part of Amnesty’s fundraising, and allows them to continue with their international work on human rights. From April 2007 CMR and Amnesty International UK will be running a mobile phone recycling scheme as a fundraising initiative for Amnesty.

Jess Hinchliffe at CMR says: “We are very excited about this partnership and are pleased to be offering our support to Amnesty International’s work. We look forward to a successful fundraising scheme and a long partnership with Amnesty.”
