CMR and Dance Umbrella short listed for Arts

and Business Award

The 29th Arts & Business Awards celebrate the best relationships between cultural and commercial organisations, and this year CMR are very proud to have been shortlisted for the EDF Energy Arts & Kids Award in recognition of our partnership with Dance Umbrella (see May and July 2006).

The EDf Energy Arts & Kids Award is in recognition of a business and arts partnership that has successfully exploited the positive power of the arts to the benefit of children and/or young people.

"Too often the partnerships between business and the arts do not receive the recognition they deserve. The 29th Arts & Business Awards give a real insight into how these partnerships connect - to benefit business, the arts, the creativity of people and energise our country as a whole. I congratulate all the short listed entrants and the award winners. They act as an inspiration to us all."

Colin Tweedy, Chief Executive, Arts and Business
